Top Dog Pet Sitters is owned and managed by Erick and Susan Gary (read more about their backgrounds). When they aren’t available for pet sitting in McKinney or Melissa, a “top dog” staff member is ready to step in and provide professional and reliable coverage.

Abby grew up in McKinney and is mom to rescue cats Moe and Dahlia. Abby is a Marketing Specialist for a general agency in Dallas that provides employee benefits and payroll services. Abby enjoys reading, reality murder shows on the ID channel, scary movies, camping, and watching OK State Football games. Abby, Susan and Erick’s youngest daughter, often comes home to McKinney on the weekends to help with overnight and out of town care.

Liz
Liz is a student at Oklahoma State University where she is studying Communications/Theater. She is in the OSU Choir, Opera and has a 4.0 GPA. Liz enjoys painting and admits that she is obsessed with dogs. Liz grew up in McKinney and is a Boyd High School graduate. Her references describe her as “dependable, caring, sweet honest and a dog lover!” Liz will be working throughout the week while home on her break from OSU.

Brian
Ask Brian what his hobbies are, and he will tell you he’s too busy raising 3 daughters to have any hobbies! Brian is employed by MISD where he teaches vocational skills to adults with special needs. That job often takes him out into the McKinney community volunteering at several places including the Salvation Army, Hugs Café, and the YMCA. Brian has previous pet care experience, his “dad” to two pups, and will be working with TDPS primarily on the weekends. Brian’s references describe him as “kind, thoughtful, and willing to tackle challenges”.

Ale
Ale (Alejandra) enjoys birdwatching, gardening, and hiking. She is the mom to 3 pups, 1 cat, and 2 young human girl children. Ale has pet care experience, and her references describe her as “dependable”, “big hearted” and “amazing with fur-babies!” When not working with TDPS, Ale is employed by CPS. Ale will care for pets in Trinity Falls.

Hannah
Hannah is a Psychology student at Collin College and dog mom to Tootsie, a Maltizu. When not pet sitting, she enjoys listening to country music, and spending time with her friends and family. Hannah has pet care experience as well as volunteer experience with the SPCA. If her photo looks familiar it is because she worked at 54th street, where she was quickly recognized as having a tremendous work ethic and was promoted several times. References describe her as “kind”, “smart”, and “dedicated to service”. Hannah works with TDPS throughout the week.

Ravin
Ravin cares for TDPS pets throughout the week. She is a pet parent to multiple cats, bearded dragons, geckos, a ball python, and a tarantula. Between caring for her own pets, volunteering at an animal shelter, pet sitting, and working at PetSmart, Ravin’s knowledge about pet care is extensive. In her free time, she enjoys drawing and singing (she’s a soprano). Ravin’s references describe her as “having an unbelievable work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a tremendous love for animals”.

Michele
Michele is the human mom of two daughters and a son, and pet mom to Koda, a Husky. Previously, Michele had potty-trained bearded dragons and prairie dogs! Michele is originally from S. Carolina and moved to McKinney in 2021. In her spare time, Michele cheers on her son, who is heavily involved in baseball. Michele will be working with TDPS Monday-Friday.

Stephanie
For over 10 years, Stephanie has been a foster cat mom, including cats that have medical issues. She’s also been the pet parent of snakes, gerbils, and hamsters. She volunteers for a cat rescue (social media and fundraising) and has volunteer experience in a vet clinic and has a certificate in vet assistance. Stephanie works full time as a Senior Producer at an advertising agency, but her heart is in pet care. Stephanie enjoys walking around downtown McKinney and she appreciates a good mani/pedi! Her references describe her as “loyal, passionate about
pets, smart, caring, honest, and hard-working”. Stephanie is also a TDPS client and on her application, she shared “I appreciate the care that TDPS provides. And I appreciate the screening process done to hire pet-sitters”. With all of her cat expertise, Stephanie is the TDPS cat expert.

Bryson

Kaitlynn
Kaitlynn is a senior at Oklahoma State University where she works in the Bursar’s office, is a leader in her church’s student ministry, and is in the Air Force ROTC. Upon graduation, her goal is to be assigned to aircraft maintenance in the Air Force. When she is not taking care of pets in Melissa or studying, Kaitlynn enjoys reading fantasy novels or being active outside. Her references describe her as “prompt, communicative, a hard worker, confident, and determined.” Kaitlynn is mom to Lucky, a beagle/poodle, and has experience as a dog trainer.

Katy
In addition to being a vet assistant, Katy’s background includes working as a kennel technician, a zookeeper intern, and a wildlife center aide while a student at TAMU. Her references share that Katy has “strong communication skills with clients, is compassionate, empathetic, trustworthy, dependable and professional.” Katy is the human mom to Annie, a Golden Doodle.
